(changed from Vigonsky) were married on 4 June 1930 at the New Road Synagogue in Whitechapel with the reception at the Hyde Park Hotel. Boris designed Julia’s dress himself which was made of white & pink satin, with a long train of Brussels lace. Later on, it was often used in the studio, pulled round in front of the bride, and draped artistically on the floor. This photograph was taken by a member of Boris’s staff.
