were married in June 1936 at Duke’s Place Synagogue in the City of London with the reception at La Boheme Ballrooms on the Mile End Rd. Fay was a machinist while Judah, brother of Hettie Oberman (click here), was a manufacturer of ladies blouses and during WWII served in Egypt as a Sergeant in the Army. The couple lived in Neasden and had one son, Spencer.
