born in 1888 in Minsk, Russia & Soloman Shulman, born in 1880 in Lithuania, were wedding guests in 1932. The couple were married in 1903 at Stepney Green Synagogue & lived in Columbia Road E2 in a flat above their shoe shop. Rent on the shop was £1/week paid to the Church. Later moved to Stamford Hill. They had six children Alfred, Harry, Benny, William (who later became a professional musician) , Doris and Rose who married Gerard Bentley (changed from Bookshneer – click here).
