Betty Cohen and Harry Weinberg were married on 20 November 1940 at Nelson Street Synagogue. Betty, born in 1919 of Lithuanian parentage, was a sale assistant at Selfridges Department Store in the handbag department. Harry, born in 1915 of Polish parentage, served in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps during World War II.
